- About Me:
Family FIRST – Raised two beautiful daughters in the Gospel with the help of my “tiny village”. My oldest served a mission, recently married, and attending college with my awesome son-in-law. My youngest is in her first year of college. Now I am an empty nester and ready to fly!!
Passionate VOLUNTEER – From various Church callings to helping with Girl Scouts, Cross-Country, Interfaith Groups, Native American Program and other Community activities. A Service Mission would be ideal.
Hard WORKER - Youngest of six, raised on a small farm with animals o ’plenty. Helped with the garden, cows, chickens, dogs . . . you name it. For fun I rode horses, crashed motorcycles, and played most sports. My Father taught me to work hard and be a thinker. My Mother gave positive reinforcement and emphasized education. First to obtain an advanced degree, but that does not put me above my siblings as they have been successful entrepreneurs, doers, givers, and thinkers.
Extensive TRAVELER – Planes, trains, and automobiles . . . even a rickshaw. A few adventures have been looking over Dubai from the Burj Khalifa, walking upon the Cliffs of Moher, riding Whistler’s Peak to Peak Gondola, swimming with dolphins in Hawaii, stumbling on the Great Wall of China, illuminating with glow worms in Australia, running the Seattle Rock n’ Roll Marathon, rafting the Grand Canyon, eating crepes at the Eiffel Tower, listening to the Pope in Vatican Square, dancing with Iceland’s Northern Lights, dog sledding in Alaska, being left behind in Morocco, gawking in the Casino de Monte-Carlo, and pondering in the Sacred Grove. But my greatest travels have been after my youngest asked to see all USA Temples before she graduated high school. There were 81 at that time. We saw 74 in 4 years. In 2020, the final 7 were booked, but then COVID hit. As soon as the Temples reopen, we will see those 7. In addition, I want to see all the new USA Temples and the 130+ in the World.
- LDS singles I'd Like to Meet:
I don’t want to spell out any “type” as I don’t want to miss out on a great opportunity by placing a man in a box. However, if you like hugs and holding hands that is a bonus.
- Church of Jesus Christ:
The Gospel teaches me to be content and to view life as an opportunity to do good. As President Hinckley said “Life is to be enjoyed, not endured”
