About Me:

My Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, and my family are of utmost importance to me. Even though I haven't been married yet or have kids of my own, I am extremely blessed with fantastic parents, 9 siblings, 7 in-laws, 19 nieces and nephews, and 3 great nieces.
I have been a teacher for the last 17 years: special education, 2nd and 4th grades, and art. I've just started a new job teaching virtually which so far, I absolutely love! I've also taught kids art for the last 4 years in a wonderful youth program called Spark Studios. I've also been coordinator and assistant coordinator. I love mentoring high school studio leaders to plan and implement projects in culinary, art, tech, and maker/builder.
Fun Fact: When I taught special education at PS 11 in Brooklyn, New York, my class was featured on ABC's 20/20 in 2007. My kids were thrilled seeing themselves on national television!

LDS singles I'd Like to Meet:

I'd like to meet a man who puts his family first before his career or anything else. A man who has a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and is temple worthy or striving to become so. A man who is genuinely and consistently kind to others, like Jesus Christ. A man with a great sense of humor, doesn't take himself too seriously, and has a strong relationship with the Lord. For a first date, I'm up for almost anything. I'm very creative, but not very athletic (well, not at all), but I love going on walks or spend time outdoors. I prefer doing something where we can talk and get to know each other better.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints:

I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of my life, but just like anyone, I've had to build my own testimony of the Gospel when I got older instead of relying only on my parents' testimony. I read the Book of Mormon for the first time when, at 8 years old, my grandparents gave me a Book of Mormon with my name engraved on the front for my baptism. I'll always remember the day I got on my knees and did what Moroni encouraged in Moroni 10:3-5 for all to do, I asked the Lord if the Book of Mormon was true. Since then, I've continued to build upon my testimony of the Gospel. One of my favorite scriptures right now is D&C 6:36 "Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not."
