Hi! My name is Ryan and I was a convert to the church in high school. I was a philosophy major and have written a few books on spiritual topics. They are basically trying to give scientific support of spiritual principles. My best qualities are my sense of humor and positive attitude. I used to be very active, and run, and rock climb, and ski and recently started exercising again. I like taking walks or hikes, but I also like to stay inside and play a board game, or watch tv or movies. I was married for ten years and have a very cute, and happy fourteen year old daughter. So I spend a lot of time helping with high school Algebra. :) I like the idea of finding a friendship that could become a serious relationship.

One of the things I do for fun is play chess on the chess.com app with friends and family. I played in a lot of tournaments as a kid, even won scholastic state championships for a few years in Colorado. So, I'm finally getting back into it.
