About Me:

One never really knows what tomorrow will bring. Some times it’s the same old thing over and over and at other times Heavenly Father surprises you. Since I have been on my own life has sent me many challenges but I know that if I a true and faithful Heavenly Father will guide my path. I make plans but sometimes Heavenly Father changes them. I have found that if I focus on living the counsel in Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Life is happier. I am still a work in progress…
Over the last few years my goal has been to retire and move back home to the small coastal town area where I grew up in Washington state. I am thinking in about 3 to 4years. The sister of my heart, a life long friend of nearly 60 years, lives there with her husband. Of my 5 half brothers I have one left and he lives in that area as well… Rhodesia Beach, where I spent the first 17 years of my life, is the special place I go when life throws me curve balls and I strike out. I often just sit on a log, listen to the gulls and the waves and let the tears flow as I pray…
I am trusting and believe the best about others. My giant angel heart loves freely and openly and it has been shattered and broken more than once. But each time Heavenly Father has sent comfort and encouragement.
I love being creative in a variety of ways from writing to crafting to gardening to cooking and many others. I enjoy learning new things. I love reading from the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. I love Family History and serving in the Temple, teaching, and giving talks. I am a hopeless romantic and I love Christmas and Cinderella type movies. I have 8 children and almost 13 grandchildren but they live in different states.

LDS singles I'd Like to Meet:

I am hopeful to find someone wo loves small town living. One that has a great appreciation for nature and Heavenly Fathers creations. Someone that can find joy in the little things and smiles from the heart. Someone who would prefer walking down the lane holding hands rather than watching TV. Someone who would find joy in "mending a neighbors fence" or willing to invite the young man whose flat tire you just changed to dinner. Someone who has a strong testimony of the Savior and Heavenly Father and seeks for their help and guidance. Someone willing to forgive others and who dwells on the positive. Someone who loves being with extended family but looks forward to "just you and me" time. Someone who has an angel heart like mine that loves to serve and to give. A first date? Maybe take a walk in a park, talk a bit and a bite to eat after words.. But lets get to know one another first...

Church of Jesus Christ:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart..." That says it all for me. When I am willing to let go of "My Plan" and let the Lord guide my path I know I will be led in the right direction. To have an eternal mate and companion would bring great joy to my lonely world. To love and to be loved is all I ask... One day at a time.
