I love my two girls with all my heart. I love sports and the outdoors. I don't have many talents per se, but one that runs as a blessing is I have known since I can remember that God lives. Nothing can, and nothing has, taken that from me despite many forms of betrayal and endless temptation. I fall, but quickly look to Christ. And I know who Jesus Christ is.
I solve rare diseases for my job.
I have a quirk of jumping in the water if I have never been to the place, wherever I am no matter how cold the water. Even Bergen, Norway in late February. Brrrr. I love to jump off of cliffs into the ocean and from waterfalls, sky dive and heights in general. I really don't kill anything, unless I am going to eat it. No, not even spiders (If they are too big, they become relocated outside). Each creature has its divinity and is here to serve us and teach us.
I love to travel, but am a bit restricted now with two younger girls. I lived in Europe for 15 years and still have many checkboxes to tick off my bucket list of places to travel.
My body is my temple and I am constantly trying to improve how I eat and treat it. I don't think I can be with someone that eats poorly. I prefer to cook together with the love of my life than go out to dinner, but appreciate going out occasionally.
Things, attitudes, egos, money and fame do not impress me, rather, they have quite the opposite effect. Honesty, integrity, service and eyes of love and a smile of charity touch my heart.
You will not find me in front of a TV much. I have not had cable or anything really for last 8 years. I love to experience people and live life, not vicariously through the TV, except educational documentaries. And I never play video games. Why, when you can actually go play sports, go for a hike, improve a garden, or serve someone.

My priorities are someone who knows how to walk side by side with the Savior and hear Him and to respond. And someone who loves and knows how to connect with children. It's a gift - one that I now make a daily effort to improve on.
I love people who have a passion for life, are very dedicated, face life with a smile and don't know when to give up.
Arms that know how to hug. Hands that know how to touch with love, and eyes that penetrate into my soul.
If you want to just accept me how I am or expect me to accept the same, it won't work, as I don't think that is what God and Christ intend for us. I am His project and in His refiner's fire and am learning to be grateful for trials. I admire people who are always looking to learn, change, improve, serve more, buy less, and love more.

I know God and His son Jesus Christ. When called, I will act. When you would like us to improve, I will head your call, because I know that is why we are here, and because God and His Son call us in many ways, especially through people. Just try and read or sing the words of "a poor wayfaring man of grief" without being humbled by tears from the realization of how often we are called, blessed and loved by God and His Son.
I often have a dream of serving a mission again, and although I long to do it again someday, I realize it is Christ calling me to do more to spread the Gospel where I am. Do you want to serve with me?
