I've been an educator for many years, mostly at the graduate college level. I do have an D of Ed though, and I've spent a lot of my career with students from other countries helping them gain an American experience in a positive way. I'm still hoping to find my forever guy, and I'm very close to my family here in Southern Utah, having just spent the last 6 years as we cared for my elderly dad until he passed away at 96. I was married once about 25 years ago, and when it ended I dove into my education and career, and suddenly here I am and still looking. My family and I are an outdoorsy bunch with a lifetime of camping and animals including horses and our dogs. We've been really interested in Utah geology and history, and we have a family company that is involved in activities around these interests. I'm a really mellow girl, not prone to loud conflict but can debate with the best of them in a conversant style. I love music and film and I'm a bit of an encyclopedia on those things...(I used to work in a record store long ago in a distant galaxy). I love history and antiquing, puzzling, I took a ukulele class here in St George once, lol. I love the law and became a paralegal in California a few decades ago, and I still am very good at government interfacing and organization of cases or projects, as well as research. Sheesh this is starting to sound like I'm doing a resume... I've traveled a lot both for work and pleasure, and I've been to Asia and Europe with many memories to tell. I am conservative in my private beliefs but I believe in elections rather than board meetings for policy directions of the public...so that puts me somewhat left of center some of the time. I believe in loving one another and allowing for the playing field to be a bit more level than the "every man for himself" way a hands-off no rules culture can create. I have made friends from all over the world and from all cultures in my life, and I'm happy to be here in Southern Utah right now where it's a little bubble of beauty and a bit safer than the big metropolitan world I grew up in. I love sports and have always been a great Dodger fan since I was a child going to games with my dad. I've been to Comic Con a bunch of times, and have always loved music or media or book festivals. I could go on... but next question?

I'm kind of a laid back casual person, so overly intense people are not really my scene. Looking for someon who is honest, open-minded and really cares for other people and animals. That being said, no free-loaders need apply....looking for someone who has done something with their talents in this world, who likes the idea of foreign travel, and thinks dogs are cool. A busy work schedule on the part of my partner, even with lots of work travel is totally ok with me. I'm pretty easy going on those things. Would be interested to know "who is your favorite Doctor?" or the answer to "Pike, Kirk or Picard?"

I was born and raised in the church, and in my line of work I've had to learn a lot about other religions, but this is the only one that speaks the truth in any way in my entire experience. I have never ever drifted anywhere else. I cannot imagine my life without it and it's the greatest blessing of my whole time here on earth. Having had such a huge and wonderful support through my family and teachers has given me such an understanding that my own personal testimony came somewhat late in my life, through mature understanding of answers to prayer and through the experiences with the loving care of my parents as they became elderly and needed me. Hard to name a single favorite scripture, but I have always loved Alma 32.
