I'm an outdoor person and ac*plished handyman. I've been involved in scouting and young men's callings for over *0 years in a variety of church callings related to those callings and district scout positions. I currently serve as an eleven year old scout leader and a High-Priest instructor. I have eight children and four grandchildren. I'm looking for a help-meet to develop a relationship with the Savior.

I am a convert to the Church and joined when I was seventeen and a senior in high school. The prophet who most influenced my life other than Joseph was Spencer Kimball. “Every young man should serve a mission, and if you’re not worthy get worthy” Well prior to the Washington DC Temple dedication my fiancé and a group of YSA went to view the temple. While entering into the baptistery, I received revelation to call off the marriage, I knew with the same burning in my heart, that same power of conversion while I read the Book of Mormon that this must happen. It was a very interesting conversation with my fiancé on the bus ride home to North Carolina. This event was one of those life changing blessing and about four months later at almost twenty two years of age I returned to that beautiful Temple for my endowment. And then I left for my mission in Montana and Wyoming.

There have been challenges in my life that have tempered me. My biggest challenge is listening to the Holy Ghost daily now that I have a greater understanding of His mission. I been told that if I walk with the Savior he will walk with me. My goal in this life is to just that. I want to lose all desire for sin. I know salvation isn't a me thing, it is a we thing.
