I am a mother to four wonderful grown children and a widow of three years. I love my Savior and I’m grateful to have found the church in my teen years. The restored gospel was introduced to me by my oldest sister when I was 16. It rang true to me as I learned about the true character of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I believed in the Bible but had never heard of the Book of Mormon. When I could see that the Bible and the Book of Mormon testified of each other, I was hooked! I have many favorite scriptures so it’s hard to pick one. One of my favorites is in Doctrine and Covenants 122:7. It is of great comfort to know “…that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good.” I understand that if I keep looking to God every hardship that I go through is for my benefit. I know He loves me!
