I am torn between the ocean with white sandy beaches and cool mountains and streams, so I enjoy both as much as possible. I love being in nature and I am in awe of God’s creations which are a testimony of God’s existence and that the creation of this beautiful world shows his love for us. At times I can be still and take in the beauty of nature or seek guidance and inspiration from the spirit, but most of the time I can't sit still and need to be active and going. I work hard and play hard. I have participated in sports most of my life and loved coaching my three boys and their teams in various sports when they were growing up. The boys are grown and out of the house now. Currently I especially enjoy hiking, biking, golfing or doing anything outdoors. Living a healthy lifestyle including a healthy diet and exercising is just a way of life for me and something I have always done as a stress relief and to show gratitude for the blessing and miracle of a healthy body. Good health is worth more than anything to me so doing what’s in my power to be active and healthy is a priority.

As a career I am an Information Technology Professional, and while I love and excel in my job, I don’t live to work, I work to live and enjoy life to the fullest. I am secure in who I am and very self-sufficient and like doing everything I can myself. I always plant a garden and love canning fresh garden Salsa. I have three sewing machines. I am pretty handy and I am good at figuring things out. I built my house, work on my vehicles, and completed a frame off restoration of my great grandfather’s 1957 Ford pickup. While I work hard and strive to be self-sufficient, I know everything good that I have and am comes from the Lord, and I am grateful for the Lord’s grace, his enabling power, that makes more of our lives, and helps us to be more than we can ever be on our own.

I strive to love and serve others, and think I am pretty good-natured and get along and have good rapport with most people at any level or background but will never compromise on core principals or beliefs.

I love adventure and travel, seeing and experiencing new things and places, but can also be content at home doing simple things. I am not a fan of lines, crowds, or traffic. I prefer my space.

I am not a comedian, but I have a sense of humor and think you should laugh every day, laughter really is the best medicine. I am somewhat analytical and reflective and have to know the how and why of everything, but I can also be spontaneous and be wild and crazy in a good way.
