I was 29 when I found my passion for art. It began whimsical, added realism, traveled long in impressionism, and was shocked into abstract. My life follows this same pattern. As a child I lined up chairs and played primary and composed simple songs. Today, my most recent composition is whimsically titled, "My Name is Buzz". LOL. At thirteen I was called to be the primary chorister sealing a childlike heart forever in my soul. Realism started when I knew Jesus was God closing the last page of the four gospels; and then at fourteen when I knew that the Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ is the word of God. My life soared into impressionism when I felt my first runners high at BYUI and continued to grow with each each child born. My children are my greatest art work! I enjoyed homeschooling and traveling with them and loved being a military spouse. They all grew into self reliant adults who are thriving in life. My son entering the Spirit World and soon after being flung into the depths of hell of families fighting against families (1 Nephi 12:15-18) with a divorce flung me into the healing gift of abstract art. I healed more though as I learned to paint realism again becoming a Certified Bob Ross Painting teacher. Today I have several framed pieces of art on the walls of my home. I started college again at BYUI and hope to receive a degree in math in the future. I recently started to learn to play the guitar with our new church hymns. I made a journal scrapbook for my grandson's baptism a year ago and continue to make scrapbooks highlighting grandma visits.
