NDGAL

I grew up in ND but spent about 30 years in western NE and have been in ND again now for 20 years. I was a stay-at-home mom with three children and worked with my husband at a rental business we owned. I took care of my mother-in-law for five years until she died at almost 95. I have recently become widowed after taking care of my husband for a couple of years. We were active in the local district of the GOP and in the John Birch Society for many years and I still am. I got into ham radio when I was in high school and still do some of that. I like creative hobbies whether it's writing poetry, origami, quilting, playing piano and sometimes improvising, trying new cooking methods, etc. Perhaps I am a jack-of-all trades and master of none but it's fun to try different stuff. I'm more introverted than extroverted. I'm interested in good nutrition, do about a half hour of exercising a day (exercycle, walking in good weather, dancing or exercising to music, and online exercises). Gardening in the summer gives me a chance to be outside and do a little physical work. My children and five grandchildren are in CO, WY, and GA and my children are involved in court reporting, JBS field staff, and professor at UGA, respectively. We are at a distance but get together once or twice a year and are on good terms. I graduated from college majoring in biology and taught school briefly before I had children. My husband was not a member of the Church so I have not been sealed in the Temple but would like to be.
