About Me:

I have 6 wonderful, adult children, who have given me 24+ beautiful grandchildren, who are scattered all over this wonderful land, but many are back in Tennessee. Happily, my sister and my daughters colluded with the rest of my family to have me move to Tullahoma into a nice independent living apartment. Many of our family are feeling inspiration to moving back here to God's Country, Tennessee. I'm still wondering, what, if anything, my purpose could be for coming here? Trust me, I am not qualified to deal with other's mental, or emotional issues or to be a "Sugar Daddy!"

Before I retired to my very modest social security and pension, my careers covered corrections, military intelligence, and public safety. I graduated from BYU with a BA in professional studentism (University Studies). I kept changing my major so many times that they developed a program to just get guys like me off campus, with some kind of "sheepskin" (diploma). My majors were English, Spanish, German, Journalism, and Police Science. I even went back a few years ago and attended the BYU Pathway program and so now I am qualified to attend BYU Pathway Worldwide and Ensign College courses at reduced tuition. I would like to improve my fluency in German and Spanish, since that seems to be slipping away with non-use.

At the moment, I don't have any of the fun toys that we overage boys like to play with ... did you know that riding a Jetski, or a speedboat, or a motorcycle, or an ATV feels almost like flying, or that an RV is a wonderful way to camp, without being played with by chiggers, mosquitos, bears, feral dogs, wolves, mountain lions, ticks, or two-legged predators! I don't "do" hiking much any more, but I would be willing to try cruising the trails on an electric mountain trike or gas quad (if I could find one that I could afford).

I found some wonderful relationship books at Seagull Book, and am only a little ways into the first one, but then my daughter gave me a book for Fathers' Day about rescuing modern day slaves ... I just need more hours in the day ... oh look, it's 4:18 am as I write this! Why waste a little sleep disorder, just staring at the ceiling?

LDS singles I'd Like to Meet:

I realize many successful couples are not really soul mates, but I think it could be fun to be friends/soul mates with a beautiful, faithful (in all ways) Relief Society sister! Some sisters are realistic enough to accept us imperfect brothers, who are striving to eventually become exalted with a worthy companion in the Celestial Kingdom! I have no desire to drag some other-minded sister "kicking and screaming up to the Pearly Gates!" Trust me again, "Sugar Babies," "Honey Pots," "Golddiggers" and their secret boy friends would not be happy here! I would be willing to try to learn how to dance for the right lady, but in reality, it's almost a lost cause, even though it might be fun trying with the right lady!

Church of Jesus Christ:

The Church has been such a large part of my entire life, starting with being blessed in the Kirtland Ward, later attending Junior Sunday School, Wednesday Primary, and MIA in the San Diego 5th Ward, and then being called from Las Vegas on a 30-month long German language mission, before there was an MTC. I've taught Primary, Deacons and Priests Quorums (hardest callings for my personality type). In the past, I served with bishoprics, quorum and branch presidencies in Central America, Utah, Southern California, and Tennessee, as a Ward Clerk, a Financial Clerk, a Historical Clerk, Secretary, and a Membership Clerk (all callings I'm much better suited for, as opposed to leadership or teaching positions). I was also a Stake Financial Auditor, but never felt comfortable auditing a Ward Bishop's financial records ‼️ In Arizona and Utah, I was in emeritus status, and when I moved back to Tennessee, my membership records have finally caught up with me. I occasionally attend my meetings with my Grandkids, but I am still enjoying my emeritus status.
