I come from a large Arizona family but now live in Idaho right at the base of the Tetons. I enjoy people and want to stay active. Many people my age are slowing down and shutting out new experiences. I used to referee /volleyball, high school, club and college but had to retire due to eye surgery. I love my Heavenly Father and want to continue to serve him. Right now I am continuing in the nursery in our ward. Kids are great. People with happy attitudes and outlooks interest me. I am always interested in trying new things and continuing fun activities. Went horseback riding and indoor skydiving this New Year with grandchildren. I met my previous husband online and had a positive loving relationship. He passed away about a year ago. Our first date was a somewhat relaxed dinner at a nice restaurant close to town. What I cherish most in my man is his relationship with our Heavenly Father, with his family and friends and his devotion and loyalty to me. I freely reciprocate.

I have had many experiences where the Lord has guided friends, leaders, family and family who have passed on to guide and comfort me. I have not really had (in the past year) a time when I haven't felt His comfort and love. I came from an active family and have a mostly active and involved extended family. There cannot be too much love given to others in this Life. What a blessing others have been to me. My current most favorite saying is from President Nelson, r"Contention drives away the Spirit-- every time. Contention reinforces the false notion that confrontation is the way to resolve differences; but it never is. Contention is a choice. Peacemaking is a choice. You have your agency to choose contention or reconciliation. I urge you to choose to be a peacemaker, now and always.
