To all True LDS members,
At the beginning of each year, we often consider what goals we can set for ourselves or what resolutions we can make to improve ourselves. But with so many options of things we can learn and do, where do we start? In Luke 2:52 we find a model of the Savior’s life: “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.” This verse invites us (regardless of age) to become more like Jesus Christ by growing spiritually, socially, physically and intellectually. This year, may we aim to be more like the Lord. He will not leave us alone in our efforts. The new year is a blank page and gives us a new opportunity, so I hope we write a beautiful story full of happiness and success. May everything that comes to us be better than we seek, last longer than we expect and make us happier than we can imagine. For a year of growth, hope and infinite blessings from our heavenly Father for us. I wish you a Happy New year 2025 and many years to come. A key LDS scripture about a fit body is 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, which states, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body".
