About Me:

I just turned 80 the end of March. VERY Conservative, I want to say that I do not wish to move from this area. Even though most of my family are so busy that there is not much energy/time left to just drop in when desired. Almost all 23 of the direct members, not counting wives or husbands etc, live within 80 miles of Richland. It would have to be a very rare situation for me to consider leaving this area.I am a very young, acting, dressing, and active woman. I love meeting new people, like being outside as much as possible as I am a sunshine woman. I want to say right up front, that I do not want to leave my area, due to my YOUNG AGE!!! Lol. I am seeking someone relatively close by living in the surrounding states, Oregon, Idaho. If anything ever came of a friendship, or beyond, the individual would need to want to relocate to this area, if they live out of my area. Okay on with the profile. Since turning 25 I have not aged in years, by that I am saying that in my mind that is where I live each day. Age is simply a number. The researchers are now finding that individuals who stay young in their mental thinking are the ones who are living over 100 years of age. My fun hobbies are, beach combing, gardening, some family activities, not many of mine have time to visit with me, they are usually what I call, "STOP BYE'S", as they say hello and then bye bye, see you next time grandma! We all love each other dearly, but with 3 busy daughters, and 11 grandchildren, and then their 11 additions they constantly go in different directions. I think that most of us senior's have been dealing with that for some time now, we make the best of the short fun visits, which are mainly going out to lunches or dinner. I also love car shows, and love to go to the coast towns to enjoy their activities. I love to find new hole in the wall delicious eateries. Living part of the year at the beach is my desire, to be able to walk the shores, and surf fish while enjoying looking for seashells and treasures. I love all church activities and being around spiritual people, and going to the temple to do my part in ordinance work. I would love to find a friend with similar loves, and do those activities together. I do a lot of weekly family history research.....it is one of my greatest passions. I have been blessed with some wonderful spiritual insights and blessings. When living in St George, Utah I was able to be a Volunteer Temple Worker for just over one year. About 3 years ago I was to find out something so wonderful......about my own ancestry lines, while living there, one my first bishop in the area told me one day, that he needed to tell me something as I was leaving their home....he had followed me out to my car.....I turned around and he said to me, calling me by name, and then told me that he has such a very strong impression to tell me that one day I would be very surprised by who my ancestry is. Well about 3 years ago I started to find out who my ancestry lines are. I had just been told about a website called: RELATIVE FINDER a BYU project: When I went on I was in for the shock of my life. Joseph Smith and I share grandparents, but then lately from a different surname line I also share another set of grandparents in that line with Joseph Smith and then it was like a cascade of finding out that I am cousins to so many of the past prophets and their wives, such as Spencer Kimball, and Brigham Young and President Russel M Nelson, and many more, and I am also a granddaughter on many lines to the kings and queens of Ireland, Scotland, England, and the royal houses of Europe. King James of the Royal House Of Stewart is also my grandfather, What? I always thought I lived on that old saying the wrong side of the tracks back in my day. I only share this to encourage all of you who may read this, you more than likely do not know who your ancestors really are, so I am using this as a way to show others how much fun it is to do ancestry work, now days you don't have to go very far before you run into so much of your family history, usually they say that when you get back to like your 4th grandparents, there is a lot of information for you to find on Ancestry.com etc.(unknown to you possibly) but there is a treasure house awaiting you in a great adventure. This is one way I can do missionary work on this site. Blessings await all who will venture out to seek where they come from......I joined the LDS Church in August of 1976 and started working on my family history about a year and a half later, out of the blue information started being mailed to me by family members I had not even met in person. I will end this section by saying this, I am not seeking marriage, but if a special LDS temple attending companion is presented....I would have a different frame of mind. They say that the best things happen at the least expected times.

LDS singles I'd Like to Meet:

I would love to meet an active/temple attending gentleman that would be willing to help each other do temple ordinances. I love to go out to dinner, and garage sales, fast food stops, who enjoys many of the activities I love, as well I am willing to take up some of your activities. Like helping with gardening projects, or refinishing furniture. I am not seeking marriage, as I am settled into that part of life. I was raised, fishing, hunting, cutting wood for winter heat. Wallowa County, Oregon was a great place to learn life skills, My step grandpa had a 1000 acre ranch on the outskirts of Wallowa. Timber, wheat, hay land, and irrigated land. Someone who is temple worthy, and people oriented, and loves to be a homebody most of the time and who would like to have a joyful, outgoing, woman who loves to be held and is very affectionate. I am a widow twice in a row, and my children's father has also passed. I am 10 years out as a widow. I have a secure income. I seek a fun guy who is comfortable in his own skin, and does not have to be on the go constantly, I love a beautiful yard, and have created many in my life. I love gardening both veggies/flowers. Sitting out on the deck having a warm cup of PERO etc, and watching the sun sets from where ever we may be at the time.

Church of Jesus Christ:

I have have many spiritual experiences, some so special only to be shared in very private settings, let's say I know where I come from and where I am going......Blessings and protection galore since finding this TRUE FAITH/CHURCH. I had a special experience concerning Jesus and God, I was 7 years old, the day that experience took place, it was in a tiny Eastern Oregon lumber camp, it stayed with me until I found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have had many church callings over the years....My favorite was being called to be a ward and stake missionary, and many times as a ward missionary. When I was a stake missionary here in the North Richland at the time The Columbia River Temple was being erected, one day while on the temple construction site, with my sister companion and a young married couple, the construction superintendent walked over to us, and pointed to two crates sitting nearby..... and took us over and show us that if we would like to pick some small stones and write each of our family members names on them, then put the stones into the second box, those stone will soon be added to the cement foundations that were in process of being poured. What a cherished blessing that has been for my family.....at that time about half of my grandchildren we upper grade/high school age, and the others were still in all stages of young children...To this day, everyone of my family members, children and the greats now starting to graduate high school......are all very healthy. My family has been so blessed as well as myself since I have joined church at age 32 of 1976. I have had guardian angels with me in surgery, and in general protecting me. This only touches on so many events etc. I love this gospel with all of my heart and soul. My family has been promised to me as long as I keep my covenants. The Windows of Heaven have truly been opened to my family and loved ones. One last thought, during covid I have had to be very careful during the high seasons of it. I had my triple bypass open heart surgery on 14 April 1998, it will be 26 YEARS ago TOMORROW. After my cardiologist told me no surgery for my unexpected heart diagnosis, with a major issue, and that he will not allow me to have the surgery, that I would die on the operating table, I just looked at him and smiled and said to him, are you forgetting my Angels? All my life I have been very healthy never got sick with anything other than a cold or flu every 5 or 7 years. Lol. I only take the same 4 medications daily since the time of the surgery. I have not had any issues with heart/???? else since. Blessings yes so many can't count. All my doctors have also told me all my adult life that I am one of those kind of eccentric people who live to be over 100, my maternal grandfather lived to be 96 years and 6 months old. Many of my ancestors lived to be very elderly. What? What age is only a number.
