I am celebrating 38 years a member of the church this year – my how it has flown. Some view me as a little eccentric, I actually think that I am slightly boring. I love a person with a sense of humour and can be a little irreverent at times – I like Ricky Gervais and The politically correct need not apply. I absolutely adore animals - all animals and have two rescue cats and a beautiful Frenchie called Bertie, whom I rescued from a horrible drunken man in a pub car park at 11 O'clock at night. I love the arts; I love ballet, theatre and a good play. I am a Forest fan, but please don't hold that against me!! I am a myopic and wear glasses for reading. I am deeply religious and my church is central to my life, but I am not fascistic about it and will happily spend hours with atheists. People I find fascinating and inspirational are David Icke, Douglas Murray, Jordan Peterson, Jonathan Roumie, Laurence Fox and Bonnie Langford – how’s that for eclectic?? I am a huge Bonnie fan - she's amazing! I love the countryside and long walks and pub lunches and watching The Chosen. In essence quality time is just being with someone you love but the proper stuff takes time to develop.

Qualities I most admire are tenacity, I admire people who keep going even when the going gets tough. I love people who constantly search for the truth and keep questioning things, that's what strengthens a testimony. I love the righteous but loath the self-righteous, I've met plenty of those. I firmly believe that if you love the Lord with all your heart and all your soul, the rest will follow. A first date can be something shared like a walk in the park.

I found the prompts below a little odd. What do I like about the restored Gospel? Well, the fact that Heavenly Father so loved the world that he gave his only son so that we might know him and have eternal life with him and that only through the Church can we be fully restored to live with him forever. I gained a testimony through tithing, living the commandments and following the principals of the Church. It can sometimes be hard living the values of the church in this world, but the rewards are vast and knowing him is the pinnacle of my life. I don't have a favourite scripture, there is so much in both the old and new testament and we have The Book of Mormon full of great wisdom how on earth do you choose a favourite from all that?
