Growing up, we moved a lot. I've lived in Utah, California, Washington, Oregon, Holland, Belgium, Connecticut and upstate New York. I lived on a dairy farm for 4 years near the sacred Grove and loved it, especially horseback riding. I served my mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1882. I spoke Dutch fluently as a child and Spanish on my mission, but completely lost the first, and mostly lost the latter
My greatest other passions are everything outdoors, relationships, and adventuring. I've recently started a new career in Marriage and Family Therapy, which I love. I'm an extrovert who has learned to appreciate introvert time as well, since living alone. I 've been gifted with a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ from a young age. I grew up active in the church and remain so. I love to sing in choirs, especially those with a strong spiritual agenda. I enjoy calling and have had a wide range of them. My favorite callings were temple ordinance work, gospel doctrine teaching, and working with the Addiction Recovery Program of the church.
