I am a Dean of Students at a local charter school; because of the teacher shortage, I also teach high school French. A mother of three and grandmother of five, I love my family and my greatest enjoyment is time spent with them. We lost my son six years ago, but he lives on in our hearts through his son, whom I see regularly. My daughters are married and improving themselves through education while raising their families.

I enjoy hiking, cycling, open water swimming, ice skating, reading, Scrabble, genealogy, church and the temple. I have participated in many sprint and Olympic triathlons, but have not been training hard in that way since my son passed away suddenly three years ago. I hope to return to it soon.

I love my little church ward, where there are so many wonderful, upright members.

I have been an educator for 35 years, as a teacher in both public and private schools, adjunct faculty member at the local college, and principal of a public school. I love working with people of all ages, and look forward to serving a senior mission someday.
