Three times divorced. The first after 10 yr - after our 4th child died shortly after a complicated birth (prolapsed cord, at home, during a hurricane) she decided to become a lesbian and leave the church (I say "decided" because when we were married and she cheated on me she did it with other men). The second after 17yr, a canadian with five previous kids, she had two more with me. She filed after committing assaut with a deadly weapon (non-firearm) on me because I wasn't borrowing even more money after finding out we had about 100k of previously unnown (to me) time share debt. The third after only 2 1/2 yr, a woman whose interest seemed to wane after we were married a couple of years and I 1) voted trump and I 2) got laid off. I guess I am less attractive when I make less money. Crazy right? She remarried after 3 months and a week. Now wasn't that a lovely little autobiographical exploration. Still here? lets go

I like books by Heinlein, Card, CS Lewis, and Jordan Peterson; movies by Terry Gilliam, Kurosawa, and Jim Henson. (and of course Disney, I'm not a barbarian) "Arrival" was awesome. When i am sad i will sometimes watch "It's a Wonderful Life". I was deeply affected by Neil Peart's death, and also by the assasination of Charlie Kirk. Hiking in to a waterfall, swimming, and maybe camping there. Beach camping (Leo Carillo, Carpinteria). Halloween costumes ( Leroy and Stitch, Edward scissorhands), fixing whatever is broken. Inventing things, breaking things...
I am looking to be acknowledged, accepted, and admired. Not admired like in "The Little Prince" but more of a genuine sort of admire. I want to find someone that I can give acknowledgement, acceptance and admiration back to as well. I want to find someone adorable so I can (duh) adore them.

I identify as a vampire/ pirate/ billionaire/ surgeon - even though I am not actually any of those. But I am an inventor and I do a werewolf/ santa clause sort of a beard thing, if you're into that sort of thing.

That said i am all kinds of wary, skeptical, beaten ,and scarred. I am grumpkering and solamending. But I am still looking for someone who might actually love me, instead of just take. Maybe NAWALTs aren't mythical after all..
