About Me:

Introduction

It is extremely difficult to write about oneself. I do apologize for all the “I”s.

I am a mother of four adult children. We are a family of readers. They like what they do for a living: a computer engineer, a surgeon, and a fashion designer. My daughter might go for a Ph.D.

A beautiful woman I am not, however, I am very kind. My friends would describe me as loving, compassionate, passionate, intelligent, and charitable. Personally, keeping an attitude of gratitude is the only way to survive during all the trials and difficulties of recent years. Friends say I am humorous (my students are “required” to laugh at my jokes, they do have to worry about their grades and I can be bribed), quick witted, and spiritual. All these sound wonderful, but remember all the adjectives come from my friends.

Service is part of my life; serving others makes me happy and count my blessings. I enjoy sending out baked goods, and handmade craft to people who I think can benefit from a kind act on a sad/gray day. I give new borns in my ward, neighborhood, and my friends a handmade present when their babies were born. I don’t care if I know the parents, I just like to share the joy of having a new born in the family since my own experiences with births were horrible. Interestingly, the one who came out blue is a now doctor. I enjoy cooking and baking! I am, by profession, an educator, interpreter (the Church, medical settings, and local companies), and represented by a small gallery.

I enjoy simple life, especially in my studio where I like to take my time to enjoy the whole process, alone, to think deeper on the conceptual part of the project. I have won an award from the Church with a sculpture and was once a judge for Utah Allstate art competition. I try to find joy in my daily activities however mundane they are. I reflect at the end of the day to count the tender mercies shown to me. I travel to Europe annually or as annually as possible. I plan well and go solo. I absolutely love traveling! Besides flying to Europe I live a very simple life; I appreciate a simple lifestyle. I am an individual with little wants.

At this point I am out of things to say about myself. You are more than welcome to add all the great characteristics to my list, rest assure, they are all true! Thank you for your contribution to my introduction.

The beautiful one is my best friend. I am the one in the back.

LDS singles I'd Like to Meet:

I appreciate people who are kind, considerate, loving, gentle, passionate about life, and compassionate. I am looking for similar qualities in a man. Church service should be a part of his life. It is very important to me that he honors his priesthood! And serves others with his priesthood. I value communication and exchange of thoughts and ideas. The lack of such in an intimate relationship has been sorely missed. Trying to be better everyday is also essential to me and should be for him. Life is mysterious, I want to go through it with someone who shares similar values and belief, especially during challenging times. The one I am looking for should enjoy family time, couple time, friend time, and Sabbath time.

May I say this? I think a guy is so attractive when he puts chairs away after a stake conference. Seeing a brother doing all the actions to a primary song Is so amiable!

Like all women I desire to be cherished again. I spent years rebuilding my confidence and inner self back; I have rebuilt a productive and positive life on my own. I am in a good place. God is so kind to me! I consider myself the most blessed single woman.

Church of Jesus Christ:

The Taiwanese (or Chinese. It depends on you political sensitivity) sister missionaries found me when I was 19, I had been reading the New Testament and searching for the true church for 4 years. The restored gospel is central to my being. After so many years in the gospel I cannot imagine life without it, especially the last few years. It is not because of habits, but my testimony that keeps me standing on the holy ground. I have a strong testimony of the divinity of Christ. He atoned for us, with a love and a prayer (from the song) He went all the way until He had done what He came to the earth to do. Oftentimes I feel the most powerful word in human history is “nevertheless”, when Jesus uttered this word, it cemented the atonement. Repentance is the gift from His sacrifice. It humbles me to think that my prophet, President Nelson repented daily.

One of the blessings of living in Utah county is there are 10,000+ temples to choose from within a 30-minute drive. What a blessing and a privilege! Temple has been a vital part of emotional healing. Living alone, I panic when I don’t feel the Spirit sitting next to me.
