Introduction

The beautiful lady to my left is my best friend. We've been best friends since 1981. The picture was taken in 2023.

I am a mother of four adult children. We are a family of readers. They like what they do for a living: a computer engineer, a surgeon, and a fashion designer. My youngest might go for a Ph.D. , growing up watching both parents working as professors.

Kindness is a virtue I value. My friends would describe me as loving, compassionate, passionate, intelligent, patient, and charitable. Friends say that I am humorous.

Cooking, baking, reading, gardening, pastry baking, sculpture making, and road trips taking bring me joy. I am, by profession, an educator, interpreter and translator (the Church, BYU, medical settings, and local companies), and represented by a small gallery.

I enjoy a simple lifestyle, especially in my studio where I like to take my time to enjoy the whole process, to think deeper on the conceptual part of the project. I try to find joy in my daily activities however mundane they are, often with a mug in my hand. At the end of the day I count the tender mercies given me.

I travel to Europe annually or as annually as possible. The first time to Europe was with my ex- husband and it was so fun! I was then hired to teach a class in Italy... I got addicted to visiting Europe. I plan my trip well and go solo, however, having someone to share the trips, food, desserts, desserts, desserts and desserts...conversation... is definitely more desirable. Besides going to Europe, I live a very simple life; I appreciate a simple lifestyle. I am an individual with little wants.
