As a preface, know that I’m fully invested in the gospel and my relationships with Heavenly Father and the Savior. I can only picture building a new life with someone based on eternal goals and covenants.
For work, I've had a 30-year career in the Alaska outdoors (sportfishing guide and commercial fisherman) and currently do policy development and lobby work for the sportfishing industry.I'm happy to be out in nature on foot, on a bike, or in a boat. I’m learning to ride horseback. I love a great meal at a fine restaurant and a good movie at home. I'm a good listener, and I appreciate deep, personal conversation. I try and stay fit, which includes eating healthy, working out, and playing racquetball. I'm active and open to exploring new things if you have something you love to do.
I consider myself honest, loyal, and compassionate. I’m told I have a great sense of humor (once I’m comfortable with you). And I have a lot of love to give to the right person.

I try to make the gospel and the Savior the foundation of my daily life. It takes work! I know the Savior and His grace are real through personal experience. I find peace and power in the temple and love to go often. 2 Nephi 31:20 is one of my favorite scriptures and Moroni 7:45 is my constant goal. I admit I'm far from perfect, but that's the direction I'm facing, and I have hope to get there through Christ.
