About Me:

Taught science and art for 27 years till traversing to the 'dark side' as an administrator. Hung my principal shingle up in 2011, was called back in the game in 2012 for five years. Went on to oversee student teachers for five years. My golf game is laughable and my tennis isn't much better. Love to travel, garden, attend plays and musicals, meet new people, and keep my two mini schnauzers groomed and cleaned, a challenge in Ogden Valley. Also, just became a LDS member in '22 and hoping to be accepted as a teaching Missionary for the School of Disabled Youth.
Presently repairing my 580 square foot cabin from snow damage two years ago.
Own a home in Chico, CA where I hope to spend the winters. BTW, widowed two years ago.

LDS singles I'd Like to Meet:

Looking for a good sense of humor, active, conversationist, enjoys exploring, visit museums, attend musicals, and likes to travel. I admire a person whose dedicated to his family, is patient, kind, and takes care of himself spiritual, emotionally, and physically.

Church of Jesus Christ:

Two months after my husband's passing I traveled to my brother's house for a month. While there attended the LDS church with him and his wife. Returning to my home in California, I phoned my brother requesting a copy ofThe Book of Mormon. To my surprise, following day two Sisters were at my door with Book in hand and my lessons began. During my visit I fell in love with my brother's area. While back in Chico, I was moved to buy a cabin, sight unseen. In fact, I was in a biding war and led to make an offer that was accepted. Within a month of my visit I sold my Chico house and moved into my cabin. I knew this was the place I was led to be. Within a few days after my arrival, I received a call from two Elders, who with my brother and his wife, and a former Bishop and his wife conducted lessons. I learned that one of my Chico Sisters called the Mission office to ensure my lessons continued. I truly felt I found a family, a home. As a life-long Catholic, I learned more about the Gospel in my few weeks stay than 14 years attending Catholic schools.ons. The following January I was baptized.
Since I was eight years old I say Matthew 6:9-13 before retiring.
