I am a widower of about 8-1/2 yrs. I have served in several capacities of the Church. None at this time. However I am active and temple-worthy. I am Commander of a Civil War group called the SCV (Sons of Confederate Veterans) which has been in existence since 1896. I like dancing, reading, walking, movies, and travel. I live in the Holladay area of Salt Lake City. I am a convert to the Church; but have found that I have Pioneer ancestry. I am retired. I worked most of my life as a Loss Prevention Engr.; but have also worked in retail clothing--men's only. I also like going to the Temple (when they open again).

I mentioned above that I am a convert to the Church. I have always felt that I was meant to be a member. When I joined the Church at age 23, I was living in Southern California, in the Long Beach area. When I was taking the lessons that the missionaries gave me, it just felt right. I knew I was joining the right Church. I have enjoyed going to the temple many times; and still look forward to that. I truly believe this is the restored Gospel; and that we have true Prophets, seers, and revelators.
