I joined the church when I was twelve thanks largely through the efforts of a senior couple serving a mission. Choosing to serve a mission myself was perhaps the best decision I ever made as it opened so many doors for my growth as a disciple of Christ.
I have a rock solid testimony of the Gospel. Perhaps the best part of my membership in the church has been loving those I've served and I've served alongside.
I value actions over words -- how I behave is more important than what I say. My favorite scripture is Moroni 7:47-48. I hope to go on another mission someday with my future spouse.
