I am widowed, two years now. I am retired and in great health. I am active physically. I take care of my 8-acre estate in rural Virginia. I play tennis at a local club in Culpeper up to four times a week. I have several children and grandchildren. I gather family here about four times a year and write my children and grandchildren regularly. I love to read history, science fiction and fantasy. I travel about once per year mostly with some daughters. I am a temple recommend holder, teach the Elder's Quorum and the 11-12 year olds in Sunday School.

What I like most about the restored gospel is its fullness. Many have parts of the truth but struggle with life's meaning and a complete picture of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love that we have living prophets to guide us. I love to teach the gospel. I searched for truth four about five years and after joining the Air Force met a member who answered many of my questions. I took the discussions and was baptized in only two weeks. I have read the Book of Mormon at least a dozen times. There are many scriptures I could call my favorite.
