I've missed you since the day I was born.
Are you even searching for me?
Or are you so busy
that every day
just keeps passing by
so quickly, so swiftly,
so elusively,
that we just keep
missing . . . missing . . . missing . . .

Where must I shine my light
to be your beacon,
your candleflame,
your brightest hope?
Can't you feel my essence
tucked safely in your warmth?
Do you even still
remember me?

I would know you anywhere.
The instant your presence
intersects with mine,
I would feel the sweetness of your soul.
I will know your heart
at that magical moment
when our eyes engage
upon one another.

That spark of who we were, together,
before we arrived in this world,
will ignite our dreams,
recall our joy, our passion, our knowing.
I am here--still me,
eagerly watching for you, for us,
for our story to intertwine,
strengthen, deepen, and continue
for all time and all eternity.

I am waiting for your smile
to lighten my load,
your touch to soften my pain,
your wisdom to join with mine,
propel us through
the murkiest of strife
and float us through
the richest of blessings.

I will laugh until I'm giddy
and tears roll down my cheek,
even at your corniest jokes,
because when it comes from you,
it is precious to me.
I can't stop smiling
every time our spirits connect--
I just can't help it.
I've always loved you that much.

I am waiting, longing,
remembering you,
ready for the miraculous time
when we find one another again
and know that this time
we need never let go.

My profile pic is a photo of an oil painting I painted & gifted to a friend years ago. I enjoy many creative outlets. I'm an artist & writer, among many other hats I wear. ‍ ‍ ️

I put my all into everything I do. I get excited about so many projects I want to do, I work hard, & stay crazy busy--except when I'm set on being unbusied. I'm persistent enough to accomplish things which at first glance, might seem unattainable. I'm passionate about my relationship with Heavenly Father, family, the gospel, & service, especially when it comes to providing resources & support to single mamas & their children who are challenged by similar hard times as I've survived.

I love life, & I'm intent on making the best of mine, despite my tendency to choose the hardest path for the greatest rewards. I am a survivor in a true sense of the word.

I love to dance, especially swing (tho it's been a while). I also love to sing, play, & spend time with those I love, especially the grandkids. I wish I could spend more time with my grands & family!

I am a nester. I love to stay home, & especially to return home after being away. Trips are nice for a while, but I prefer to be grounded in my own surroundings that I can always improve & beautify. I love nature & country living--I'm not a city girl. I've lived in the forest & wooded mountains most of my life. Currently I live on my acre+ in a 1932 homestead in northern CA near the redwoods & ferns. I manage 3 properties, & love what I do, although I'm constantly challenged.

I have a big thing for antiques, & can be quite eccentric about that.️️‍‍
