I just retired from practicing law primarily in the area of labor relations. I now focus my time on working in the temple, my family, and our ranch, where I get to spend every day enjoying the great outdoors and the beauty of the mountains. We have built our own bike, ski and horse riding trails throughout the property. I ride them almost every day. As a former professional competitive freestyle skier, I achieved tenth place in the world. In addition to my ongoing love for skiing, I enjoy mountain biking where I have participated in numerous long distance endurance races consistently placing with the top finishers. I have always had a very competitive spirit which compels me to pursue excellence in everything I do. I have been very active in the Church all my life, and have served in many administrative callings as well as a gospel doctrine teacher for eight years. I currently serve as an ordinance worker in the temple. I have five adult children all of whom are married in the temple, active in the church, and accomplished professionals. They were raised with a strong focus on our Savior and the family through activities such as boating, primarily at Lake Powell, skiing, mountain biking, backpacking, and high adventure trips. They have blessed me with seventeen grandchildren. We are all very close and regularly enjoy various get-togethers with each other. For instance, we all just returned from a week long getaway at a beautiful mountain lake accompanied by some whitewater river running where my oldest granddaughter was a guide. I am kind and considerate, loving and loyal, devoted and dedicated, and I cherish and respect the relationships I'm blessed with.
