About Me:

I am a widower, I was in the U.S. Army as a special forces (green beret) medic, hand to hand combat and survival instructor.
20 years, 5 months and 22 days. I went to Weber State in Ogden received my A.S. in general science, my B.S. in Zoology with minors in botany, geology and chemistry. Went to BYU and received my M.S. in ecology, with emphasis in statistics, continued with my Ph.D. in Vertebrate Zoology with emphases in Mathematics, vertebrate paleontology, geology, and evolutionary biology. The Ph.D. was in conjunction with Montana State University. I have 4 children. I love to go to the national parks and monuments. Hike, and just go outdoors. I will be retired by next July, being a professor of biology and geology at UVU for 32 years.

I want someone who likes to have fun and can discuss important topics about life and church concepts (not politics). I admire honesty and someone who has an open mind about many things. I like the logic of the restored Gospel and how it makes so much sense and then how the spiritual fellings (Holy Ghost), tells me of the truthfulness of what I logically knew. favorite scripture: Alma 30:44.
