I have been a member quite a while now, almost. lifetime, my ward is great. Living in Alaska gives you the opportunity to meet adventurous people who like living away from the big cities. I'm pretty easy going, enjoy gardening although our season is fairly short. I have lots of room with 1.2 acres so with our light season coming up, we have lots of growing time for plants. April 1, it's pretty much light all the time, and starts getting our dark time in October. Yes, we do get earthquakes, but most are pretty mild and gives us something to brag about. Then too, we have volcanoes, which also gives us something to brag about. I have a jelly jar of volcano dust on my kitchen counter, that I tell everyone is my grandma. Yes, I have an Alaskan sense of humor, we joke about everything, especially the climate, culture, life, volcanoes, blizzards, earthquakes, the Lower 48 and politics. I want a man that will be fun to be with, not laughing all the time, just having the warmth of knowing we are there for each other, holding hands and a listening ear. I do want passion in my marriage, I am a passionate person, and I am affectionate. I am an open person, I don't want to waste time playing games, I am who I am, although I am a great learner. I am intelligent, I like to know why things are, or how, or when...I own my own company, but am thinking about selling it or at least finding someone else who would like to take over. It was featured on Oprah 3 times, and on the front page of the Wall St. Journal so it is a one of a kind. I guess I am a one of a kind too, so I am hoping to find that someone who is my soulmate, are you out there?
