I am a loving, healthy, mature, stoic, 83-year-old gentleman with a colorful background. Retired, divorced, and financially independent, I engage in two hours of daily physical conditioning twice a week at a local gym, and occasionally bike ride 18-20 miles. I teach the Gospel Doctrine class in my ward and participate weekly in three hours of ordinance work for my families at the Denver Temple. I am a Vietnam combat veteran (qualified as an airborne Ranger). I’ve earned a B.S. in Marketing (University of Utah) and an MBA (Pepperdine University.

I have been uniquely blessed to experience the miracle of God’s forgiveness according to the atoning sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. After receiving the required approval from the Quorum of the First Presidency on May 18, 2022, my rebaptism was performed on June 4, 2022.
Eighteen months later, after again receiving the required approval of the First Presidency, in a meeting with my stake president on January 13, 2024, I was informed he had received a letter from them, authorizing the restoration of priesthood blessings, which he carried out at that time. I met with him the next day, on Sunday, January 14, 2024, where, after a worthiness interview, he personally issued me a temple recommend which he had prepared.

These approvals were necessary as I continue on an indeterminate, low-risk parole after serving nine years in Colorado’s judicial system, ending in 2016, for a regrettable, non-violent, s.o. transgression 20 years ago in 2006.
