Spanish Fork, Utah, United States
About Me:

I am retired from managing Rangelands but keep busy supervising my two young adult sons who are high functioning Autistic.
I enjoy most anything outdoors. I especially like yard work (Pruning and Gardening), camping, hiking, improving rangelands, forestry and horticulture. I no longer read music but love to fiddle on my violin (it calms the stresses of everyday life).
I speak some Portuguese and Spanish because I serves a full time mission in Los Angeles (8 months) and Brazil (remainder of my mission).
Family is important to me and is why I retired from the work I love. I have 5 children only one of which is married. I have 3 grandchildren.

LDS singles I'd Like to Meet:

I would like to meet someone who loves the Lord with all her might, mind and Strength, who honors her covenants that she has made with the Lord and who is interested in finding someone to share the rest of her life with. Someone who I can share my innermost feelings with. Someone who will join with me in preparing for the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Church of Jesus Christ:

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoy attending church, serving others on both sides of the veil and love to be in the Temple.
When I was younger I enjoyed learning about my ancestors. I still enjoy that but spend more time in preparing names in Family Search for Temple Work.
When I was a teenager I lived in Buffalo, New York. There I often spent time with the missionaries, visiting the Hill Cumorah, the Sacred Grove and other Church History Sites. I love to study Church History. While in Buffalo my Sunday School teacher told us that we should question the truth of what we were being taught. That we should find out for ourselves if it was true. I could not see why we should do that. It was what I had always believed. Why should I question it. While in the Language Training Mission preparing to serve as a missionary in Brazil I one day read Alma 32. As I read that I realized that I had received many witnesses of the truth of all I had been taught concerning Jesus Christ, his Gospel and His Church. This did not happen only once but many times for as long as I can remember. It is good to find out for ourselves the truth by the power of the Holy Ghost and all my life I had been doing that. Through study, prayer, sincerely wanting to know the truth and asking God in the name of Christ he manifests the truth unto us. It is not all at once but line upon line and precept upon precept.
