I am new to the area, and fairly new to the church! I was baptized in Sept of 2020. I’ve found it difficult since then to date because most outside the church don’t hold the standards I do - and I keep ending up in wards full of married couples with kids!

I knew the Gospel was true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet the moment I read the articles of faith, even before opening the Book of Mormon. I had chills through my whole body and couldn’t hold back tears. I had never been so moved and convicted by words before. I was ready to plan my baptism right then and there!
My favorite scripture are the chapters in which Christ appears to the people in America. It’s where I always find myself turning to if I open the Book of Mormon for inspiration or comfort.
