Divorced 10 years ago and am tiptoeing into this singles world, looking for friendship first and see if something can develop naturally from there. My style is reserved, I am a "social introvert" - Introvert = prefer not being in the spotlight, and small gatherings over large groups; Social = love learning about people and different cultures, and enjoy meaningful conversions one on one; always up for a new adventure! A convert at age 14 in southern California, my budding testimony was tested often and strengthened. When I was taught by the missionaries about the restoration of the Gospel, I knew immediately that it was true and I have never doubted since; however, I have needed the cleansing, healing and changing power of the Savior's atonement and know from personal experience that He is "mighty to save." Served as a Guest Services Missionary on Temple Square (GSM) and also as a ward missionary, and plan on serving a mission when I retire, solo if that is my situation. My dream would be to serve in a temple in Africa, but will serve wherever called. I am studying Portuguese on a prompting and am curious to see how that will be used.
