Well, I certainly never thought I'd be in a position to seek an eternal companion again, but I know Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us when we take that first uncomfortable step with faith that our righteous desires will be fulfilled in His time. Although, I certainly won't be upset if things move relatively quickly!

To save us all some time, let me start off with this: If you're a woman looking for only a wealthy, tall, dark, and handsome young man, I'm not your guy. (This is the part where you get to quickly move onto the next person.) If, on the other hand, you're looking for someone that is a man of honor and integrity, tries to do his best to improve every day, can be trusted, has a burning desire to be Christlike, and puts the Lord and family first, then please read on.

As a father of five adult children and ten grandkids, I'll use their description over the years of some my attributes:

Always looking to help others, whether it be family, friends, or strangers.
Humble and nice.
Loving and patient, while always trying to see the other persons point of view.
Never lets a good hug slip by.
Not afraid to admit when he's wrong and sincerely apologies and works to correct his error. (I'll admit this one was really developed during their teenage years.)
Good listener and doesn't always try to solve the problem. Has a way of helping you find the solution.
Great sense of humor, but some of those dad jokes...yikes!
Very loyal, even when it's not convenient or easy.
Puts others before himself.
Protective.
Supportive in all we do.
Gave us a good foundation for life on how to be valuable members of society.
Doesn't judge others, especially us and understands free agency. (Some of my kids have chosen to be less active over the years, but I still spend a ton of time with all of them no matter their choices, and would hope my future spouse would be able to do the same.)
Great tickler and can always make me happy when I'm sad. (Grandkid) I don't tickle my adult kids any more though.)

On a personal note, I love to travel both domestically and internationally. I love the Pacific Northwest with the Puget Sound, Olympic National Forest, lakes, rivers and the Coast! I hope to find someone that enjoys exploring as much as I do. I also enjoy Europe and just got back from my first trip to Japan. So many other wonderful places and cultures to see, although the Middle East has had to move down my bucket list recently for some reason. I also enjoy cooking, yardwork, and even housework, especially when I have my best friend working and talking beside me.

Overall, I consider myself to be happy with a positive outlook on life. That's not to say that my life has always been easy, far from it. But accepting the restored gospel back when I was a teenager has taught me over the years that at times Christ will walk by my side or lead me when I listen, and will even carry me when I feel the burden is overwhelming.
